Our project helps students understand the importance of understanding and helping those who face poverty. We have been working hard to help those in need. We have partnered up with three teachers at David Brearley to help keep their care closet running, and we are bringing awareness and knowledge to the closet. We are creating a badge for the younger Girl Scout troops to complete. In the badge, the girls learn about poverty, how they can help, why certain people act the way they do, and how to shop for non-perishable items.
